might not be perfect but look what Ive done

Ok I might not be the worlds best needleturn appliquer but Ive managed to finish the first block of Aunt Millies Flower Garden - Ive actually had the whole set sitting here waiting for quite some time., ok a really long time, it was a block of the month (12 blocks) and all the blocks are sitting here ready to go.  I know its not perfect but Im quite happy with it!  Now on to block 2

Hi Di, I do love the fabrics that you have chosen for this block! I am not normally a "Baltimore" fan but your fabric choice really "makes" this block! Well done on learning needleturn applique. I tried this once, but much prefer the sewing machine for the speed, but I do admire those who do do this method of applique.

Its fabulous Di. Looks pretty good to my eye. Given I've never done needle-turn (too scared to... and too little time), I'm no expert but am in awe of folks who give it a go. So well done, and have fun with Block No 2. And in the big scheme of things, finished trumps perfect any time!

Looks amazing, and your needle turn must be great for it to look this good.
