Well winter is just around the corner and it is definetly getting colder!
This "should" mean more crafting time - lets see how that goes, I do like a good wet weather timetable which for me means staying inside and not being outside.
I have managed to finish a few things - firstly a pair of socks which will be for Sarah and with the leftover yarn I made a pair for Ollie so they can be matchy matchy
Ive also been working away at the hexi quilting project and have completed 50 squares so I joined them together into two lots of 25 Im really enjoying working on this as its what I do when I first get up in the morning and I find it soothing and relaxing - Ive still got a fair way to go though
On the reading front Ive finished a couple of books
Firstly as a physical book
This book started well but then it lost its way for me
Its the story of Holland who takes a "class" in folklore with the "professor" but all is not what it seems and she finds herself on a quest to find the alchemical heart
It then got a bit lost along the way for me and the world building just wasnt there for me and its 2 stars for me
Next an audio book via audible
Book 4 in this series and this one is mostly the story of Marcus and Phoebe
Marcus has been a vampire for quite some time and Phoebe has chosen to become one so that they can be together for a long time
We learn a lot of Marcus's past - particularly in the American Revolution and also Phoebes journey to become a vampire
Once again im really enjoying this series and I usually dont like books with vampires in them! It was a 5 star listen
