Well the weather isnt quite as cold as it has been - and we have so very many heifers calves in the shed! Almost at capactiy and only after two weeks - its been super crazy! The continuation of not finishing is continuing - but to be fair Im working on a few long and complicated projects - one of which is the beach walk blanket. Its crochet and not what I usually do but I fell in love with the pattern and got a kit for all the yarn. Im probably only 15-20% through it and not loving all the ends to be sewn in but being very disciplined about doing that as Ive been warned by other who have made it Heres a progress pic - and reminder there is A Lot to go! I did finish another audio book - the second in the time police series by Jodi Taylor - Hard Time. Once again Im glad Im re-listening to this series - Id forgotten how good it is. Several times while listening Ive laughed out loud! It conintues the story of Matthew, Luke and Jane as they navigate their way as trainee time police off

Again not a lot of finising to report - just an audio book! So a new time police book has been released (its part of the Chroniciles of St Marys books that I love) by Jodie Taylor. I started to listen to it but found I couldnt remember the backstory to it so Ive started listening (via audible) to that series again. Book 1 is Doing Time and sets up the adventures of Matthew , Jane and Luke as trainees in the Time Police. Their job is to make sure that the time line is kept correctly and to "police" those who mess with it. In true fashion all does not go according to plan and there are plenty of times when listening to this that I laughed out loud. Jodi Taylor is such an excellent writer and of course its 5 out of 5 stars for me!

Well I dont have a lot of finishes to report this month - but I have been working on things! Some are huge projects and wont be finished by quite some time On the farm calving is going well and we are getting plenty of heifer (girl) calves which is great and both cows and calves are keeping everyone very busy indeed I did finish knitting a pair of socks - pattern is Fairy Dance and the yarn and the pattern were gifted to me. I must admit I didnt enjoy making these that much as there are a lot of twisted stitches and they are not kind to my hands and make the knitting quite slow - but i am pleased with how they look and I love the colour of the yarn too (yarn is Anzula Cloud in the colourway Grape) I havent finished any books this week - I was reading the Paris Seamstress by Natasha Lester which I thought I would enjoy but I got maybe 50-60 pages into it and I really wasnt enjoying it so Ive put it aside and started something else Ive decided life is too short to read things I am r

Watching the Olympics is continuing and isnt Australia doing well? Ive shed several tears watching some aussies win - especially Saya in the BMX racing (what an awesome story she has) and many of the swimming races. And lets not forget Jess Fox! Ive also been quite productive myself! Firstly I finished this super cute set of hat and a cowl. The yarn was from Louie and Lola and was sold to raise money for breastcancer awareness. The kit came with the amazing pom pom and the clip on details on each of them. Im really pleased with how they came out. I also made this hat too from a kit from the wooly thistle in england - the pattern is called tiny boats and Im pleased to say I knitted on it while watching Jess Fox! I also finished two books - the first one a physical book - The Godmothers by Monica Mcinerney This is the story of Eliza who is raised by her single mother Jeannie who dies in unfortunate circumstances. She has two doting godmothers - Maxie and Olivia who try and make th
