Im going to give it to a dear friend Kerry who is having a special birthday - 45 - hope she enjoys it

Help! My mother, sister, and I are trying to make this same quilt from a Moda jelly roll. It looks like you used a light color for your 'backgroud' color for the triangles wheras we used the dark brown suggested in the picture that came with the kit. Our problem is, we misjudged our seam allowance and now (after we've already attached the triangles) we realize that the finished piece (which is the equivalent of half a finished square) only measures 4 3/8 x 8 1/2 instead of 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 like the instructions called for. My sister says the only thing we can do if we want the pinwheels to come out right is match and pin the pinwheel points together before we sew together one half block to another. Then, we'll have to use a template (centered on the pinwheel points) and cut all the blocks to something like an 8" square. And then proceed from there. Do you have any other suggestions?
