flutin tootin

My third daughter Megan aged 12 has started to learn to play the flute
And she's quite good too!!!
Doesn't she look professional!!!!!
Has been teaching herself at home more advanced stuff than the teacher has shown her and can even play good old "Hot Cross Buns" and "Mary Had a Little Lamb"
Why is it when an instrument is learned these are ALWAYS some of the first tunes that we learn?

Hot Cross Buns is one of the few recognisable tunes with only 3 notes. .... also known as the dreaded HCB by music teachers.
It is SO Wonderful when they make it to 5 notes - such a bigger range of tunes.
