oldest ufo finished

Hooray!!!!!!!!!
Ive finally finished my oldest ufo - yes I dont really have ufo's (or so my Mum says or thinks)but this one was one I started in 2005 when I was teaching in Barham as a class "sample" on folded blocks. I had made up all the quilt, bound etc but still hadnt folded over and handstitched down all the sides of the blocks to get the curved feel - hope you understand what I mean.
Anyways its finally ALL DONE

ooh very well done - and noice - my oldest ufo was pieced in about 1983 or 84 but will never be quilted. It's a hand pieced queen sized sampler and got dragged to classes for 20+ years so I guess it doesn't owe me anything :]
btw the Smoothie will be fine for Mia [ just not for the newborn usage I was intending ] ... I'll be interested to see if it drives you nuts too ... it probably will if you're a fast knitter but if you're a little slower maybe not. One can hope!

I like it! Congratulations on finishing!

That's a great quilt, the really narrow sashing works so well to show off the blocks, but yet let them run into each other to complete the pattern.

I wish my oldest UFO were only three! It's over 25! Most of my UFO's just need quilting & I have a LA, isn't that sad?
Congrats, I'll be whooping it up when I get my senior citizen UFo don done!
