mia can sit

My daughter Aimee tells me that she looked at my blog and there were no recent photos of Mia - so here it is
Mia can now sit(no minimal support needed!!!)
Oh!!! and she is also starting to drag herself around the floor - which is quite tricky to get a photo of - so will leave that until the "proper" crawling starts

phew.......long time

This needleturn applique has been a very long time in the making..........and finishing.
I think I started it about 3 years ago in a class and had a couple of "attempts" at going on with it..........but............well you know how it is.
Anyways it is finished now - not perfect but no means but finished!!!!

Triangle of the week

Phew........last post for the day - goodness Ive posted HEAPS
Did the Dear Jane Triangle of the week - danish delight

monthly prompt 2

Have just finished (yes another finished!!!!) my quilt for monthly prompt 2 - Romans 3:23-25 (New International Version) V23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. V24 -and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. V25 - God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in His blood. He did this to demonstrate His justice, because in His forbearance He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished.
The black and white is for our sins and the red flowers represent the blood

Rain

Praise God we have had rain - 17.5 mm - 70 points - nearly 3/4 of an inch - so far!!!!!!
We even have mud - but not complaining.
