BLESSED SPEEDY

Just a reading finish this week and its ones Ive read before as a physical book but I wanted to revisit so decided to listen to it on audio via audible This book had me engaged from page one! Kristin Hannah can definitely write! This book is set in world war 2 in france and tells of underground operations during that time There is also some family issues, a bit of romance and telling how strong people can be in the worst of circumstances Although part of the story was quite sad I really enjoyed it. And 5 stars of course

Week two of September and yet another pair of socks finished - Im on a roll The pattern for these socks is Morning Coffee Socks by Crazy Sock Lady (yes Im working through all the sock patterns I have printed off) The yarn I used was some I bought from Morris and Sons in Melbourne and its Urth Uneeth Sock in the colorway Zebra - I love how they have turned out and it came with the yarn wound into two seperate matching balls which was awesome I also finished two mini projects that were sent to me from a ravelry friend - Taylor - in the US A Mosaic and a teeny tiny stitchery And I finished the following book on audibook via audible Book 10 in the series - still chasing Clive Ronan and waiting on the Time Police to show up, which they do but never on time. And of course 5 stars

A good start to September with finishes both in knitting and reading Firstly yet another pair of socks The pattern I used with Simple Cable Socks by Kino Knits and the designer gifted me the pattern I used yarn that was also gifted to me by my sister - Cheryl - its Fiori Sock in the colorway Waratah and I made the womens 56 stitch size Im super pleased with how they turned out! I also finished this book as a physical book Fabulous book and I cant wait for the next book in the series! It has dragons! This is the story of Astrid and Skylar who are fated to duel to the death in order to save The Heart There is romance (for each of them), quests, and both dangerous and caring (though huge) dragons - and magic

And just like that August has come and gone and hopefully warmer and sunnier days ahead I did get a few things finished off too! Firstly a pair of socks (yes another pair) These are the hole in the ground socks and I used Ash and Eve sock yarn to make them Great pattern - just enough to keep you interested and I think the yarn is a good match for them too We had a nice sunny day the other day so I spent several hours cleaning up this area and it looks so much better and not so overgrown and geraniums are very forgiving Im sure they wont take long to grow back Reading wise I finished the following - An Argumnetation of Historians by Jodie Taylor and this is the 9th book in the series - of course awesome with a lot of annoyance from the idiot Halcombe and also Clive Ronan Of course its 5 stars! So a nice way to round out the month!
